Dozens of second- and third-graders seized their moment Thursday to ask Jenna Bush Hager about her life as the daughter of President George W. Bush.

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton has taken a job with Avenue Capital Group, a $12 billion hedge fund based in New York City, according to the New York Daily News.
Avenue Capital Group was co-founded by Marc Lasry, who has contributed to campaigns for Democratic politicians including Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Bill Bradley and John Kerry, Reuters reports.
Clinton, who graduated from Stanford University in 2001 and studied philosophy at Oxford University, could not be reached by Reuters for comment. A spokeswoman for Avenue said the company “does not comment on issues of company personnel.”
She may have “studied philosophy” at Oxford, but she earned a Masters in International Relations there and a MPH from Columbia. She’s also working on a PhD from NYU.
Well, Chelsea definitely couldn’t make it on her looks.
And trying how to break up with the husband at the same time.I am impressed.
It seems like Jenna is maturing into a very good person and doing something worthwhile. I wish her much success.
Maybe she’ll drop the Today Show gig.
I agree with you.
I like pointing out the hypocrisy of the left is not Chelsea everything they fight against??
Is Chelsea breaking up with her husband? The courting lasted longer than the marriage. Weren’t they married just last summer?
Bah. I’d prefer all Bushes get out of the public eye for good. Lately they’ve been murmuring about running Jeb for president. Let them stay home and be waited on by armies of illegal aliens. I’m not as sick of them as the Kennedys, just almost.
I doubt they will breakup but they have the same relationship as Hillary and Bill..
I noticed the hard science bent of her degrees as well.
Probably had to write a lot of papers about how international studies made her feel.
Not to be a spoiler here, but listening to her you can see where the Bushes never developed strong philosophical conservative underpinnings.
Like BOR, they sound conservative on top, but when listened to in depth, something’s not quite right. A shame too - I loved Bush’s speeches. But he didn’t really understand conservatism.
It trickles out when Jenna says, “right to college education”. There is no right to a college education. There is a right to seek after one, and make yourself the best you can be, but a right to a college ed is something libs hook onto, like a right to a house, or a right to “free” healthcare.
Now she’s young yet, and probably hangs with libs all the time. And sees lots of kids she wants to help. Her heart is there. But you know? My kids, who are younger, wouldn’t have made those mistakes.
Flame away.
It's not basket weaving.
Just look at the grandparents. You can see why the current generation Of Bushes is what it is.
Flame away? No need to....your post is spot on.
