In a conference call with reporters, Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill just disclosed that she failed to pay $287,000 in property taxes related to her co-ownership of a private aircraft. This scandal comes quickly on the heels of recent revelations that McCaskill improperly billed taxpayers for use of the same private aircraft, for which McCaskill reimbursed the Treasury $88,000:

The personal property tax racket purported by many of our states is just criminal. I guess that a case can be made for land-property taxes, that is after all the primary way the government was funded for the first 100 or so years. But, we're taxing anything that has an ownership title today. That's just BS.
Of course she voted for tax hikes on the rich.
Pray for America
That's a great point and one Mr. Martin should make in his ads.

It’s wrong but that is not the point. Democrats put these property taxes into place. I remember my dad paying taxes in Missouri in the 50s based on the estimated value of the little bit of furniture and other items we had in the house. Democrats who are responsible for these taxes need to be forced to live up to their own tax requirements until the outrageous taxes are removed.
FUBO & FAD
i don’t mind her not paying taxes as long as we get the same break
It’s called “Rangeling”.
Any Republican would be facing indictment. But she’s getting a Rangel.
I couldn't agree more. One of my buddies lived in the Raleigh Durham area in the 90's and they had a local or state tax on all the stuff you owned. Jewelry, cars and other things in your house. I wondered how they knew if you were paying your fair share or not. Searches of homes?
Then like Senator Kerry lie about not paying their taxes on luxury items most Americans will never be able to own.
Another seat the dims will lose. Will we get a rino or another Jim Demint?

I rejoice to hear that a democrat gets caught shirking their "fair" share but the principle you raise certainly has merit.
Then like Senator Kerry lie about not paying their taxes on luxury items most Americans will never be able to own.
It's an act, a fraud, a farce.
They feed on the evil envy oozing out of the heart of the parasite class.
Decrying the wealthy, while actually being immensely wealthy one's self, is basically a magical incantation. It's a ritual whose power transcends the authority of the invoker.
Psssst....hey Claire....it’s called EBAY !!!!
