Rumor has it that House GOP freshmen and the conservative Republican Study Committee (RSC) led by Jim Jordan beat the snot out of House Republican leadership and that the leadership is working on getting to $100 billion in cuts.

Rush Limbaugh is right on the money when he says Republicans do not know how to lead anymore...
So... does $100 billion in “cuts” still means that leviathan gets to spend $100 Billion more than last year?
lol.
I hope the doofuses in the GOP don’t think this is actually going to benefit them. If the Senate-House Conference restores the spending, the House would be stupid to shut down the government over the difference between $1.4 trillion deficit and $1.5 trillion deficit.
Now if the House leadership had, ON DAY ONE, announced they would start proceedings with the premise of a balanced budget and would force all other spending to be justified and get a 2/3rds vote.
Then the GOP would be able to show a stark contrast with the left. But they can’t, any attempt to shut down the government over the difference between $1.4 trillion and $1.5 trillion would be seen as retarded by the American people. Including Republicans.
Other than a cosmetic effect, I’m still trying to figure out what the GOP establishment types were trying to accomplish with that half-assed “cut” of $32B.
