HAHAHAHAHAHAH! (Dear God, I so love freepers! Please, I ask for forgiveness in this suffering.) Was that a before, or after, shot?

IIRC, last year, Twins baseball player Denard Spann hit his mom in the stands.

Huge! Yet some people people say there are no coincidences . . .
It's better than using the fist or whatever to hit ones baby mama as is the case with Coach Mike Haywood.

Ryan Shannon and Denard Spann need to apply for new guardian angels. The ones they’ve got are not working at all.

That's right. I had forgotten about that.
Then there was a case several years ago when a batter lost his bat and it hit the team owner's wife...St. Louis, I think.

People actually read these stories? People actually write posts asking if people read these stories?

The story says he hit the crossbar and the the ricochet sent the puck over the netting above the glass. That means he had to call it first for it to count.

Didn’t you read the article? ;):
Asked if he was aiming at his bride, Shannon was quick to point out that he had really been aiming for the fan of a rival team.
There was a Toronto Maple Leaf fan sitting next to her, he said. But I missed by a couple of inches.
Earlier in the article it said the puck hit her in the leg and gave her a bruise. Luckily it wasn’t worse.

Okay, if he hit the crossbar and the puck deflected into the stands... What was his wife doing sitting anywhere near the endzone seats? Couldn’t he score any better tickets for his wife in his home arena?

Denard Spann hit his mom in the stands
Speaking of funny wording, are the stands above or below the waist? Either way, it sounds painful. ;)
