Off topic entirely, but I notice that Staff Sergeant has three hashmarks which indicates being in for at least 12 years......when I was a Juggie, I knew a guy with a weird Logistics MOS who kept getting promoted for billet-filling purposes. He made Staff before he got out - and he was a two year enlistee.
Nobody could believe it, including him.
