Some of the others, though, look pretty tasty. I've never heard of Cosi's, but that Thanksgiving sammich looks really, really good!
And everything that comes out of a White Castle kitchen is by definition (well, my definition, anyway) "yummy".
You should try a McEbe sandwich in Japan if you want bad.
#10 (or #1 out of 10) would be Passover Coke, made with real sugar instead of HFCS.
I love Cosi and that sandwich is da bomb. Or rather, da nom. They also make an outstanding Cobb salad. That said, some of the stuff in this article looks nasty.
I tried a McRib back around 1982 and thought it was pretty good. I had not eaten at McDonald’s for maybe 30 years until last year.
I tried it again and the food was awful. I mean awful. I can’t see how they stay in business.
I really like McRib, but I LOVE the Cheddar Melt! Why does McDonald’s refuse to bring this back!
Have a Cheese Plazaburger at the Plaza on Henry St. in Madistan, WI...you’ll thank me later.
In my misspent youth I found that BBQ pork ribs served in jail were exactly the same thing as McRibs. I don’t mind them but you get tired of having them every wednesday.
Couldn’t disagree more about White Castle (!) but I see that they have sweet potato fries. Now that’s good news and reason enough for me to go there!
Mc Rib is unique. It is not BBBQ.
I’ve had 2 this time around
We now have them at home...... pork swiss steak, A1 rich n hearty sauce videllia onion
Ping
It’s almost criminal that Hardee’s only has cheesy bacon fries on the menu occasionally
The McRib is colored, shaped and flavored pork fat. Yuck!
Limited-Edition Foods :
McD’s eggnog shake......just a weakness this time of year
The McRib is one of the sickest pieces of wormsh1t ever to be pressed into the shape of a meat-like structure. This from a guy who in high school worked at McD’s for awhile.
From a marketing strategy, it’s great. How they got so many people to voluntarily shove them down their throats and come back for more, pure freaking genius.
I am off ammonia-nized fast food meats forever. Make my own now.
Okay, this is regional, but
Elegant Farmer Apple Pie, baked in a paper bag.
Voted "Best Pie in America," Wall Street Journal, 2005.
Arby’s Chocolate Croissant.
Oh my, those are heavenly.
Thumbs up on Shamrock shakes, mint Girl Scout Cookies and Starbucks, um, pumpkin scones, rather than the lattes. The scones are seasonal, and my kids and I love them as a rare treat.
Taco Bell needs to bring back the Chili Cheese Burrito. Only a few locations still have it.
Three not on the list:
Twice in the last 10 years, Hardees has brought back the “Big Shef” burger from Burger Chef, which Hardees bought out years ago.
Cranberry Ginger Ale from Canada Dry, Love it!

Lastly, The Cone, in West Chester, Ohio (near Boehner’s district office!) has Pumpkin Ice Cream every fall. A must have.
I remember having my last match in December of that year prior to the semester break, and right afterwards my dad took me to McDonald's. That McRib was one of the best things I tasted in my life.
