It looks like a fine car. My inner Al Czervik has been leaking out lately.
There are a number of “senior-friendly” phones like that in Japan. They have big buttons and large number displays that make them easier for the elderly to handle, and of course they have volume controls that goes WAY up.
But no other functions. They sell well.
That is so funny! But I doubt that is a feature - no receiving calls! But if so, it would suit my needs. No annoying telemarketers, no credit wolves or other predators while you're out and about. Let them leave messages or try bugging me at home on my land line where I can screen their number (most of them anyway) and decide if I want to answer or ignore.
LOL
So, it can only be used for what cell phones were originally intended for? Say it aint so!!!!!!
Me too. I just want a phone. I hate texting (nothing but shorthand like back in HS in the old days). I do not like to be texted too. It is irritating. I just want to make a phone call not take a picture or video or anything else.
I have a Samsung phone that can block up to 25 phone numbers.
This is NOT new.
The Jitterbug has been around for years now and was marketed mostly for technically deficient seniors as well as large numbers they could see.
my son finally saw one on display and asked the guy, who looked surprised that I would want one like that. it was a mil spec Motorola, rugged and simple. I ordered one without the optional internet service.
these guys are dense techies who cant understand that I would not want anything more than a solid phone that my fingers can manipulate and wont break in my pocket. My wife and 2 of my college age kids waste all day on their I-phones playing....when I want to play on the internet etc I wait till I can get home and turn on the computer.
Believe it or not my Dad still uses his over the shoulder bag phone.
At least it stays in the car. LOL
Does it come with an optional dial?
