A Middle School Challenge (Vanity)

The mom of a local middle-school student sent me (and the rest of her list) an email about an upcoming "Challenge Day" scheduled at school. The purpose of her email was to recruit parent volunteers for the day. She included a brief description and a link to the website.

The vague description raised some red flags, so I went to the website and did some information gathering. It included media links, information on a new book written by the founders, local testimonials, sponsors and so on. I went to the About Us menu bar and (w a Glenn Beck sniffer) clicked the 'Global Leadership Council" and found Van Jones' profile buried lower on the page.

The seminar may very well be a great program despite the progressive leadership, however, I thought it was worth a heads-up.

This may be related to the Organizing for America operation
for Obama socialists. To me it’s the same as ACORN but under a new name. Van Jones coming at me from their website would make me a deer in headlights. See if you think the “program” needs a little research and exposure. Good luck.

Thank you for the heads up on this. We are going to pick this “program” apart down to the nubbins. I mean down to the last link to the first and last people involved with this agitprop and brainwashing of our kids and where every cent comes from.
This needs as much daylight as we can give it!

There’s quite a few of these efforts of smacking the kids with the “progressive” agenda, at least three large ones that I know of. One is Norwegian (I’ll tack on a couple youtubes here so you can see), one is British and run by a large UK utility, and one is a EU political arm thing.
