I thank you sir, President Washington was indeed the model that all Americans should endevour to uphold. It is a great honor and at the same time a very humbling experience to read the writings of this giant among men.
The very first thing you notice about Washington is his absolute devotion to excellence, even perfection, in all aspects of his life. That, along with his humbleness and devotion to what he saw as his divinely appointed duty to his Country, make him the yardstick against which we should judge other men, be they President or plumber.
