However, no major accidents were reported Thursday morning
Severe fog enveloped most parts of Dubai this morning bringing the visibility down to less than 30 metres in several areas and slowing down traffic movement.
The Roads and Transport Authoritys Intelligent Traffic System displayed signs on most foggy areas alerting drivers to reduce speed and switch on the fog lights.
However no major accidents have been reported so far.
Meanwhile the weather forecast for today is that relatively hot weather during daytime with mild to pleasant weather at night especially over the internal and mountainous areas.

Relative humidity is likely to increase over coastal and internal areas during night and early morning times, with a chance of mist fog over some of these areas. Sea will be slight to moderate in general.
The minimum temperature will range between 20-26 degree centigrade and the maximum between 37 and 42 degrees with a maximum humidity at around 65 to 99 per cent. The weather would continue to remain more or less the same during the weekend.
They need to give the pirates back their gold ASAP!!
More bankrupt construction. I wonder how fast that crap will fall apart too with slap shod construction.
Peculiar looking fog, on the brown side. Is this a highly unusual occurrence? Looks like pollution or dust played a role.
Dang. You could smuggle bin laden himself with that kind of cover.
It's a good thing that their roads are so well equipped. Otherwise how the drivers would know that they are in the fog, and what to do? :-)
“It’s really foggy. We better speed up to get out of this fog!”
Tule fog in Bakersfield.
My son is over there now doing contract computer work, the last time he was there the Iceland volcano blew and he was stuck in Frankfort Germany for a week on the return trip.
