I gather that this is Illinois, but I had to look that up, since it’s not mentioned on either website.

I also had to look up what party line he’s running on. Here’s the data from Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Senate_elections_in_Illinois,_2010

So, now he’s Constitution and Libertarian party lines. Does that mean that he throws the election to the Democrat?

A sideshow candidate that will only draw votes from Kirk. But I guess we’re OK with that.

Yes we are because the Republican is a liberal and we don’t need liberal Republicans. If the Tea Party and conservatives had gonads they’d look at the 45% of voters who are not happy with the 2 major party liberals and try to upset this race. We keep going along with whatever the establishment hands us we won’t get anything different.

We’ll see what happens. If so then who cares we have one less liberal Republican liberty shredding Republican in the Senate and a flawed Democrat that can be defeated at a later date. Labno is going up on radio. I’m personally ashamed of my fellow conservatives. The reluctance to take on Kirk is shameful. I suppose they want another Republican Jeffords or Arlen Specter or Mike Castle. Like we don’t know how that worked out. If we want to go back to the same old Bush politics then Kirk is the man but don’t pretend this is about winning because there is nothing to win in this race with Mark Kirk but delayed disappointment.

I know Mike Labno personally. He deserves our support. He is a common man who has had to work hard to accomplish what he has. He’s in this race for his daughter. He used to be a Republican. He has a great story but he is being shut out disgracefully to protect a man who is evil and that is the best I can say about him.

MARK KIRK TRUTH FILE
JUST SAY NO TO SOCIALISM

" "The GREENEST candidate in the race... better than Barack Obama!"
-
Carol Calabresa/The Sierra Club, 2008
" The strength of our campaign remains the Democrats"
- Mark Kirk, 2008

Freepmail me to get ON or OFF this list.

Stufflebeam endorses Labno. As he notes on his website though, it's NOT an endorsement of the entire LP ticket, because the LP does not have a pro-life plank. He's simply endorsing their Senate candidate as the best (and only conservative) option in that race. I agree.

Splitting the conservative vote for self-indulgent, windmill-tilting empty gestures is “good news” how, again?

I don't support either one of these men. But, your question makes it pretty clear that you think Mark Kirk has some right to a united conservative vote. Correct me if I'm wrong. But the question must then be asked: Why? He's as leftwing as any Democrat.

Last Feb., Kirk got 57%. In the 2008 IL U.S. Senate GOP primary, Steve Sauerberg got 56%. Are the majority of Illinois Republicans liberal, or are they too lazy to research the candidates?

“A sideshow candidate that will only draw votes from Kirk.”

Paid for by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, http://www.dscc.org, and not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee.

Thought I should add the missing line from the above graphic.

“Mark Kirk is a socialist scumbag.”

PERHAPS.... You could be quite right.

But given the choice between that, or a corrupted Chicago Mob banker that will suck up to Obama while stealing all he can for himself, who do you choose?

For informational purposes on the latest Rasmussen poll regarding the IL senate race:

Illinois Survey of 750 Likely Voters
Conducted October 11, 2010
By Rasmussen Reports

1* If the 2010 election for United States Senate were held
today would you vote for Republican Mark Kirk,
Democrat Alexi Giannoulias or Green Party Candidate
LeAlan Jones? (Please note that we split the survey to
rotate the order of the candidate names, so while half will
hear the Republican candidate first, the other half hears the
Democrat mentioned first.)

43% Kirk (R)
44% Giannoulias (D)
4% Jones
7% Some other candidate
2% Not sure

>> “Mark Kirk is a socialist scumbag.” PERHAPS.... You could be quite right. <<

There's no "perhaps" about it. Kirk has been in Congress for a decade and has a record to look at. We KNOW he is a socialist scumbag who ALWAYS sides with the left when we "need" his vote.

>> But given the choice between that, or a corrupted Chicago Mob banker that will suck up to Obama while stealing all he can for himself, who do you choose? <<

Given the choice between 1) A corrupted Chicago Mob banker that will suck up to Obama while stealing all he can for himself, OR 1) A corrupted lying combiner will suck up to Obama while screwing over voters to gain all the power he can for himself, I choose the third option, Mike Labno.

No more Jim Jeffords or Arlen Specters. We won't get fooled again.
