I gather that this is Illinois, but I had to look that up, since it’s not mentioned on either website.

I also had to look up what party line he’s running on. Here’s the data from Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Senate_elections_in_Illinois,_2010

So, now he’s Constitution and Libertarian party lines. Does that mean that he throws the election to the Democrat?

A sideshow candidate that will only draw votes from Kirk. But I guess we’re OK with that.

Stufflebeam endorses Labno. As he notes on his website though, it's NOT an endorsement of the entire LP ticket, because the LP does not have a pro-life plank. He's simply endorsing their Senate candidate as the best (and only conservative) option in that race. I agree.

Splitting the conservative vote for self-indulgent, windmill-tilting empty gestures is “good news” how, again?

For informational purposes on the latest Rasmussen poll regarding the IL senate race:

Illinois Survey of 750 Likely Voters
Conducted October 11, 2010
By Rasmussen Reports

1* If the 2010 election for United States Senate were held
today would you vote for Republican Mark Kirk,
Democrat Alexi Giannoulias or Green Party Candidate
LeAlan Jones? (Please note that we split the survey to
rotate the order of the candidate names, so while half will
hear the Republican candidate first, the other half hears the
Democrat mentioned first.)

43% Kirk (R)
44% Giannoulias (D)
4% Jones
7% Some other candidate
2% Not sure
