My Freeper friends, as a former DoD Quality Assurance Specialist-Aircraft/Electronics/NASA, Census Bureau Office Operations Supervisor-Admin. (2000), and former pre-Hurricane Katrina V.A. New Orleans GS-5 Program Clerk, this is so bloody real, and always has been exactly as you watched it happening, it AIN’T Memorex!
The writers and the cast pulled this one off with flying colors.
The ‘presenter’, usually a person who performs no other job, except that they DO fill a payscale slot, but never do the work for the slot they are assigned, usually does have this megalomaniac, ‘I am the government, hear my instructions under penalty of death’ attitude. They have usually been placed in this ‘presenter’ slot, by a ‘dutch uncle’, goombah, or other more current affectionate titles. Oh, I almost forgot! This particular ‘presenter’ in NCIS, will have no one dare bring up her ineptitude, and why do you think that? First whisper, and it is NOT the ‘gender’ card that she will pull, I guarantee, and have witnessed, before!
And you, my Freeper friends, pay for this sort of character, with your tax dollars!
Actually, the first training I had to endure in “Human Relations”, was a class, while I served in the Air Force at Dover AFB, De, in 1975, by a college graduate, social worker-type staff sergeant, who made sure he spent no time in any part of SouthEast Asia.
“Robert Wagner! Of course, it must be Sweeps week!”
Ha! My wife and I just finished watching the rerun of this episode. We both agreed it’s the best ever. Tony does a superb job as the doped up prisoner, yet retains just enough of his humor to keep it interesting.
Thank you very much, Captain Buzzkill.
>>>Illya Kuryakin - one of my first crushes...(sigh)
They worked this connection into an NCIS episode... somehow the conversation got to what ‘Ducky’ looked like in his youth, and Gibs says, “Illya Kuryakin”...
Gibbs- "Illya Kuryakin."
Oh I love NCIS and it seems to lean right. It’s frequently funny and can be quite interesting.
Best line ever
“I forgot to tell you — my boss is a sniper”
Bang
No, liberal bureaucrats embrace this BS. It has been entrenched in the DoD and military long before Obama cursed this country with his administration.
The "red light, green light" lecture has been around for many years and every job I ever worked for the gov't, I have had to endure this training by some dried up hag who had never been told that most of us women can take care of the situation ourselves and a hell of lot more efficiently.
Talk about totally sucking the life out of people...
Oh, my...me, too! I was a young ‘un then, but boy was he cute!
I love Ducky, but I think he’s had some “work” done. ;o)
I’m just glad that Abby is hugging me in her mind. ;^)
I noticed it was on last night at 9 on USA. Yes, one of the best episodes. Yeah, the sniper shot that took out the terrorist was a great plot twist. They all did an excellent job in that episode.
Good choice...I love Abby.
Ziva is probably a handful...and a tad dangerous. ;o)
