Finally. Something this actor and I agree on. That, and that Megan Fox is easy on the eyes.

I thought it was pretty good. Loved the Soundtrack and Cate Blanchett was great.

I cannot wait until next year for the next one. I hope John Williams does the Soundtrack.

How did that milquetoast ever become a leading male actor?

And why was that? Well, one reason is because he was in it. Another reason is because Harrison Ford simply mailing it in for his performance. I have no idea why this movie was made. Look for Wall Street to be another disappointing dud. Directors and actors need to learn when to leave well enough alone.

Yes, apparently the Red Chinese will be the baddies in this one that is set to take place in 1959.

I just don't get it with Shia Lebouf. I'm not sure the what draw is for him. He's an ok actor but I don't think he warrants all these high profile roles.

Maybe he's handsome or something? Honestly, I can't tell - lol!

His mistake is to think what he does is “important”.

I went to see Star Trek last summer. There were these two high school girls sitting beside me (crowded theatre etc). They sounded like they were about to have an ‘o’ when “Transformer 2” previews were aired.

Can’t believe I’m agreeing with the clown, but he’s right.
Then again, its hard for ANYTHING to compare to Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I hated Indy 4. Mutt's trapeze act with the monkeys in the jungle. His fencing on the car at full speed. At least the stunt in the original trilogy were for the most part plausible. Don't get me started on the Close Encounters stuff, especially after three movies with biblical themes.

Hee hee. He doesn’t just bash the last Indiana Jones movie, but he digs at DeNiro as well, which I agree with. The old man has gotten complacent in his roles.

I agree with you about the close encounters stuff. However, one film critic, 20 years ago, the critic at NPR, complained that The Last Crusade treated religion poorly in the movie since it confused “magic” for “religion”.

Maybe, because it was all, you know, an act? Here's a clue, the majority of leading male actors throughout Hollyweird history, were not truly masculine... Rock Hudson ring a bell? Sean Penn?

What established Harrison Ford was the double barreled effect of the original Star Wars, and Raiders of the Lost Ark. Ever since, he has tried to emulate that again, mostly without real success...
