I saw this and was amazed how the dog had no fear of the shark at all. It is a small shark, but it's still a shark.

Agreed, but it also appears to be a dead shark. Even so, they have spines, and it probably hurt the pup. It’s still novel!

I watched it again, and the shark was alive. It was swimming before the dog got to it, and the tail fin was moving as the dog brought it to shore.

Whats a sand shark? Is it like a smaller and more docile shark?

There is no record of attacks by sand sharks on human beings in North American waters, though bathers often come close to them. Our own experience bears this out; in fact, it is looked upon as a harmless nuisance on the New England coast wherever it is plentiful enough to be familiar. But its relative (or relatives) of East Indian waters have a more sinister reputation.

I do believe that the shark is on the line of the first fishing pole, and is raised up out of the water by the pole, and that the dog grabbed it, and slack is let out on the line. But hey, I could be wrong, I still think it is an interesting video, either way. Maybe I’m just a skeptic, the shark not fighting back, and all...

Small is relative — that shark looked bigger than the dog.

I kinda feel sorry for the shark.

How so?
I must admit my ignorance, after all I thought they were just small sharks, never heard of sand shark before.

Thing is, I went to look for another Shark vs Dog and found yours on Youtube.
It looks like the shark had been caught on a deep sea rod and may have been dead tired.

The copy you have was edited by someone else.
Still a cool video.

It looks like a Golden Retriever or at least a Golden mix. They are wired to retrieve what their owners want retrieved. Goose or shark doesn't seem to matter.
They are one of the smarter dog breeds, but not as smart as a border collie. A border collie would probably just herd it to shore.

I’d say that dog is part boxer. Like at least half.
