Two Daytona Beach police officers are on administrative leave after they were arrested and charged with felony criminal mischief.
According to the police report, the trouble began for officers Donald Aldridge and Justin C. Ranum on August 9th when they responded to a mobile home on North Beach Street looking for the resident

What in the world is going on with cops these days?
Who else wouldn’t be immediately fired and held on bail much higher than $1000 for “felony mischief”?
I dunno, but it seems to be a trend...

The West Palm Beach officers damaged many vehicles in a parking garage.
Should be fired and have their licences revoked.
There are many fine Police Officers doing their best to protect and serve.
There are also those who ignore the law themselves because they belong to a fraternity that looks out for each other, including the bad ones.
Like any other job the bad ones need to be weeded out, unfortunately it takes incidents like this to do the weeding.
Looks Like we need a ‘well regulated Militia’ instead of a police force in Daytona Beach.
“Like any other job the bad ones need to be weeded out, unfortunately it takes incidents like this to do the weeding.”
BS cops know who the bad ones are for the most part, they just do nothing about it. Its only when they do something stupid like this and get caught that the bad ones get weeded out.
And you know that because of your extensive career in law enforcement?
All 3 tell me that there is very little difference between the typical cop and the crooks they are supposed to protect us from. Friends who are cops are mostly the guys who barely made it out of high school.
No... your brothers in blue told us, or they told the Department of Justice in a survey in May of 2000...

“And you know that because of your extensive career in law enforcement?”
No, because I’m observant and can think for myself. Also because DOJ studies have shown cops will cover up for each other more than 50% of the time.
Or do you expect us to believe that people who spend extensive amounts of time together don’t talk or otherwise get to know each other?
Exhibit 3 on page 5 of the pdf file is particularly interesting... Exhibit 3. Code of silence
It is not unusual for a police officer to turn a blind eye to improper conduct by other officers. 50.6% of the officers agreed.
Police officers always report serious criminal violations involving abuse of authority by fellow officers. 58.5% of officers disagreed
Why did fellow officers not turn them in? If there are all these fine police out there why is it the citizens that are always turning them in, not other officers?
The only reason they pull stuff like this is they think they can get away with it. Now they are on paid vacation, and probably will get away with it.
These people are out of control.
I think I mentioned the fraternity and how they look out for each other.
They will not do it themselves, I mentioned it takes incidents such as this to weed them out.
The idea is to look out for those who are bad, because some day you may need that bad guy to look out for you.
No: Do not expect the Officers to police themselves. It aint gonna happen.
Public incident like this is the only way.
forgot they were supposed to tune up the perp, not the trailer
