The Morgan Hill Unified School District, former Principal Nick Boden and Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez were granted an extension until Sept. 2 to respond to the lawsuit filed by the parents of three of the four Live Oak High School students who were sent home from school for wearing American flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo.

This is still the Company-Line, so to speak. The paper reports that the Admins believed that the 5 kids wearing our own flags were the instigators, while the couple hundered kids waving Mexican flags were innocent victims of racism.
If Mexico is so great, move back.
The bad news: Eggs will get broken to make the new American Omelette. And by eggs I mean skulls, as violence flares and righteous indignation turns to action. I just hope they are not the eggs of MY people, who are morally in the right on this subject. Sadly, we are mostly peaceable and conflict-averse. Our side will emerge from this beaten and bruised, but hopefully unbowed.
Once again proof that all cultures are not equal. Like posted earlier, if Mexico is so great, get the hell out of here and go back.
On the other hand if you want to be part of the American experience, come here legally, learn the language and drop all the anti-American hyphens. xx-Americans will always be lessor Americans.

Sorry Pablo but even on Cinco de Mayo Live Oak High School sits on the sovereign soil of the United States of America.
Cinco de Mayo is not a holiday in Mexico, but is observed somewhat in the state of Puebla where the battle took place.
Cinco de Mayo is observed in the U.S. by Corona beer drinkers and media who don’t know Cinco de Mayo is not a holiday (no offense to idiots intended).
