He could potentially make over 100K because of this business model assuming he’s not shut down.

This is exactly the kind of 3rd world style, low carbon footprint business leftists say they support, but destroy with government regulation and interference as soon as it appears.

He said the sandwiches range in price from $5 to $7,

Dang! Even if he's not buying his supplies at a Sam's Club, that's some kind of markup!

My husband is either going to be jazzed or jonesed. He is the grilled cheese maker in our home and they are tasty! We’ve kidded him about starting his own grilled cheese fast food joint. Looks like this street vendor has beaten him to it!

The trick to a great grilled cheese is to lightly toast the sides that will face the cheese first.

Extra crunchy.

It also melts the cheese faster.

I just Looove pure plain unadulterated capitalism.

In a truly free country he should be able to do this without any fear of being shut down by some “health department” or any other agency.

Word of mouth and customer feedback, especially in the age of the Internet, is all the “enforcement” that is necessary. If people get sick eating his sandwiches, he won’t last another day. If they don’t, then there’s nothing to enforce, is there?

A New York man says he took a page from drug dealers to sell his perfectly legal product -- grilled cheese sandwiches -- on street corners.

"I feel like a drug dealer because I'm handing people a paper bag and they're handing me cash," Ronnie said.

"It's not cool with the Department of Health," he said. "I don't know how much longer I want to do it because I'm living in fear. It would be such a stupid thing to get in trouble for."

"Ronnie," huh? How about scumbag calorie-pusher? How about child transfat predator? You should never have talked with the press, "Ronnie" - it's only a matter of time now. Not even the mob pimps grilled cheese right in front of the First Lady Gardener and the the Department of Health. You goin' down, bro.
