Our Government has become a vast blotted bureaucracy that feeds on the people to satisfy its hunger for more power and control its very nature is to grow and grow until it usurps and consumes all the nourishment the people have left.
The only way in which to stop this takeover and the resultant loss of freedom is to cut the Government down to size and restrict it from ever growing to the monster it has become. again.
No one in their right mind believes that a functioning society can exist let alone prosper without a Government.
Due to the human nature of greed and self interest it is necessary that a well structured Government put in place regulations with regard to banking certain business activities to insure that there is a level playing field. Even certain environmental restrictions are necessary to protect the rivers and lakes from illegal dumping of toxic waist products such as we witnessed during the 50s and 60s.
However when an environmental protection agency (EPA) like the one that inhabits Washington these days has dominion over almost every aspect of our lives and intrudes in everything we do in the name of protecting the environment the people are relegated to a subordinate role and the movement becomes a religion onto its self.
The most important thing that must be accomplished in downsizing the Federal Government is to insist that any regulation or policy that the autocrats’ decide is necessary for the general welfare of the country is equally shared in its consequence i.e. they can no longer be insolated from the various polices they put into effect. When these polices become onerous and destructive to our economy and the responsible autocrats’ are immune and isolated from their effects, there is no longer any means to hold them accountable. They just go on collecting there high paying salaries and retirement benefits.
Our founding fathers new this and configured a Government with defined responsibilities and careful checks and balances. They laid out this Government in a document we call our Constitution. Had we followed their Governmental structure and adhered to it basic tenants we would not be in a 14 trillion debt and at the same time facing an unfunded national liability of over 110 trillion dollars. This debt will never be repaid not in our life time or that of our children. This is a criminal catastrophe in the making and no one wants to confront it. Since it is left for future generations to deal with its consequences it is convenient to just pretend it doesn’t exist and go on their merry way. This must I repeat must come to an end. We must at all costs retake our country and return to our roots. Self Government if it is to survive and work for the people it must be accountable for its actions and the results of those actions. Only an informed people holding our elected officials responsible can we regain our freedom and prosperity.
It is about 4X worse than that. What President did we have who had pals who “wanna kill white cracker babies?”
This debt will never be repaid not in our life time or that of our children.
