For example, he’s made it clear that he wants Texas to have an AZ style immigration policy.

Boy, I'd sure like to see that in print. All I see is stuff like this:

Perry rejects immigration law mirroring Arizona's.

Is this a bill of attainder?

Why does it always come back to that? We should be happy because we got the lesser of two RINOs?

I thought McCain cured us of that crap.

So would have you been happy with Kay Bailey RINO?

She already said they didn't have a choice of voting for a more conservative candidate, so why bother with the snide, and unnecessary, question?

- Perry tried to make Gardisil mandatory for all school girls in Texas (This was a fight I was glad to join.)

- Perry was one of the first governors to jump all over the Supreme Court's eminent domain decision and to start seizing land for his highway from Mexico. (The TTC) Farms that had been in families for generations have been swept up by Perry. (For that alone, I hate the man.)

- Perry has been lazy as h*ell concerning securing our border (an issue he ran on, BTW)

- Perry reneged on his promise not to take the stimulous money

- Perry promised to give us a break with property taxes, but we're still being crushed. (And if I hear that I'm supposed to be grateful for my property taxes because we don't have a state income tax one more time, I'm going to ralph. Wyoming, NH and Florida have lower PTs and they don't' have an income tax either.)

- Perry appointed a pro-choice judge that the voters had rejected

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1352512/posts

- Here's another one: "The Ismaili Muslim community announced Tuesday that it is building a $6.5 million worship and community center in Plano, Texas, where it has found a warm welcome. Idiot GOP Gov Rick Perry (RINO-RX) flew in to lay the first ceremonial brick for the center's foundation."

- Perry has spoken out against Arizona's immigration law and agreed with the feds that immigration is that fed's responsibility.

http://texasfred.net/archives/6586

- Perry was a Democrat until 1982 and was Gore's Texas campaign chairman in 1988. (Now who knew *that*?)

PERRY IS A RINO. He's a politician, nothing more.

I'd say that Texas deserves better; but obviously we got what we deserved, as we keep voting the jerk back in.

We only had one other viable candidate (Medina) who had a shot at getting rid of those two and she ended up being a 9-11 truther who was (VERY) soft on immigration. (if she hadn't screwed up those positions she might have made it, despite her complete lack of experience.)

Texans need to come back to our roots. We need to get smart and take charge of our state. No, Perry hasn't done the worst job possible (that title would go to Obama), but he's a far cry from the best. We desperately need new blood!

(I'd pay to fly Chris Christie down here next week if he'd take me up on it! I *never* thought I'd be jealous of New Jersey! lol!)

Is this a bill of attainder?

That was exactly my first thought.

...“[t]he House-passed version requires that the governor guarantee the Legislature will provide a certain level of state funding, which is prohibited by the Texas Constitution…”

Separation of powers would suggest that the executive does not have the ability to "guarantee" anything that the legislature will do.

Gov. Rick Perry COULD do a lot of things. One, he could support Arizona.

And Doggett is certainly no friend of Texas.

He said a law like Arizona’s would not be good for Texas. Where did you get that he supports it?

I don’t think Medina was a “truther”. I think her response to Beck’s question was right on. The way I heard it she simply said she didn’t know exactly what the “truthers” were saying. Beck did that crap to help Perry and I hold that against him.

Yeah right! Jealous because they don’t look as good as Rick Perry. In truth, Perry could be a LOT more conservative and he would look a LOT more handsome but look at what our choice is! Perry or White! There is NO way Republicans/conservatives should be talking down or making fun of Perry. Wake up guys stop looking in the mirror at your bald heads and sad sack faces, we need to kick White’s butt and elect Perry!

After this election and if White wins and I hear one person say “I voted my conscience and voted for Medina or Paul or Mickey Mouse” I AM GOING TO BLOW A GASKET!
