SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Attorneys for a prison inmate accused of killing a guard while escaping from a Salt Lake City medical center are seeking to cover his neo-Nazi tattoos during his trial.

If the tatoos are the result of a prank played by friends when he was passed out, then cover them up. If the stupidity was self inflicted, let them show.
This is why we need jurors who know and understand their rights. I have a feeling an informed jury would declare this idiot’s tattoos to be admissible evidence.

If he’s recanted his neo-Nazism and those beliefs played no role in the killing with which he is accused, then cover them up. They’ll unjustly prejudice the jury.

I ran into this clown a couple of weeks before he murdered General Carl. He was, indeed, bubbly and immature, having a buddy of his buy him beer at a gas station. Probably wouldn't have remembered him at all, but for the tattoo.
