Teacher facing sex charges involving 3 students (Presumed Innocent jury awaiting more photos)

Canandaigua (WSYR-TV) - A Canandaigua school teacher is facing charges, accused of performing oral sex on a 17-year-old student.
36-year-old Marla Gurecki-Haskins is also accused of "Sexting" two other students. Police say some of the incidents happened in her classroom during school hours.
According to court paperwork, she's accused of "engaging in text messaging of a sexual nature that encouraged a sexual relationship between the defendant and two 16 year old male students."
Haskins is charged with official misconduct, two counts endangering welfare of a child and disseminating indecent material to a minor. The third charge is a felony.
Haskins has been a certified special education teacher since 1996. She has been placed on leave at the district.

She’s beautiful, which increases chances for probation but leaves you wondering why she thought she needed to hit on students. On the other hand, she’s a special ed teacher. If she was taking advantage of special needs kids, they’ll throw the book at her, which they should.
