This news from the island state: Hawaii passes new public record law. This bill prohibits multiple requests for public documents. This was passed in response to requests for President's Obama birth certificate.
So why the secrecy? What are they hiding? Why deny a request for a public record for our president? Conspiracy theories are never productive, but don't the American people deserve to know the truth? If the president was indeed born on the island as claimed, why not just release the document?
But let's play a hypothetical game. Right now the Congress is controlled by the Democrats. So if the state of Hawaii said they can not prove President Obama was born there, then what? Of course impeachment charges would come up. If he was not qualified to be in office, he has taken office by deception. But if the Democrats control Congress, how far would those charges go?
Under Speaker Pelosi's command, they have already become martyrs. They sacrificed their career for the health care bill. Would they do the same to impeach their fearless leader? Would the impeach the great hope of our socialist future? This is highly unlikely.
But all of this is irrelevant now that Hawaii has usurped their power and indeed abused their power. Legal challenges should follow. How can a state government hide a birth certificate for a president that was elected by the American people? What is their reasoning:
In testimony before the Legislature in February, DOH Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said her department receives about 50 e-mail inquiries a month for Obama's birth certificate, primarily from the same four to six people. "The time and state resources it takes to respond to these often convoluted inquiries are considerable," she testified"
It takes too much time? So sorry to inconvenience you Ms. Fukino. But I believe you are paid by the taxpayers. Remember those people that live in your state, work in your state and vote in your state? So thankfully the legislature just passed a law to make your job easier. This should allow more time for surfing. Wonder if someone could pass a law like that for the rest of us hard working Americans?
If the document exists, produce it. Settle the debate once and for all. Prove where President Obama was born. For Hawaii to enact this law defies all principles of public records. Hopefully it will be quickly repealed.
This law is also SLATED to expire in 2013. It is PURELY to protect President Obama. WHY is he apart from all other citizens?
They are "convoluted" because they use the convoluted laws written by the State against your continued deceptive tactics.
Fukino testifies that her staf (and herself) find it too difficult to do the job they have been asked to do.
But feel free to run a governor out of office with unfounded non-stop ethics charges.

Maybe she should quit spending all that time on the phone to Axelgreasy and the Usurper in the Oval Office trying to coordinate their responses and just do her job -- or quit.

Fukino has broken multiple laws in order to cover Obama’s dirty behind. Heck, her claim of “50 e-mail inquiries a month for Obama’s birth certificate” has been proven to be perjury. Add to that her breaking of HRS 338-18a when she said what is on one of Obama’s several birth records, her taking the administrative rules off her website in violation of Hawaii statutes, her misprision of the felony of forgery which she knew that Obama had committed, her inviting public officials to rely on what she knew was a forged document (which is either forgery or perjury, I forget which) - four laws she’s broken, and that’s just off the top of my head.

And law enforcement in this country - including law enforcement by Republican arse-wipers - is a sad, sad joke.
That’s the point that people need to understand. Bennett is just as guilty as the people he’s covering for. And he wants Hawaiian sovereignty just like Lingle does - that delicious little carrot Obama dangles in front of them to counter the sticks of lost federal monies and lawsuits galore if they cross Obama’s will.
Anybody who is still using the “Since Republicans sign off on it everything must be hunky dory” argument simply has no comprehension of where we are as a country. Power corrupts, regardless of whether it’s a D or an R behind your name, and money can buy anything when a system is corrupt. If we don’t learn that, this whole self-governance thing is just a bad experiment that’s ready to blow up in our faces.
