Obama Pulls the Race Card on Arizona
Dr kateviews ^ | April 25, 2010 | drkate

It didn’t take long for Obama to use the race card and blame Americans for his own failures, this time Arizona for enforcing immigration law to protect its people and our nation’s borders.
Governor Brewer:

"We in Arizona have been more than patient waiting for Washington to act. but decades of inaction and misguided policy have created a dangerous and unacceptable situation.”

This is a perfectly legitimate action by state government that Obama called “misguided” as he instructed the ‘justice’ department to “see if its legal”. Obama said that the federal government should reform immigration at the national level–or “leave the door open to irresponsibility of others”.

The Coward in Chief continues:

that includes, for example, the recent efforts in Arizona, which threaten to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans, as well as the trust between police and their communities that is so crucial to keeping us safe”

Is permitting the invasion of the United States through illegal immigration truly a part of ‘basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans’? So open borders and illegal immigration is ‘fairness’? And what does Obama know about anything that ‘Americans cherish’?

Obama is engaging in racial profiling himself, accusing anyone who acts to stop illegal immigration as being unfair and essentially racist.

The Racist-in-Chief will not be able to push this one down our throats. We already have his number.

The Left Starts Spinning

There was a time when it was politically incorrect to refer to an illegal immigrant as just that. Remember having to call illegal immigrants ‘undocumented workers’?

The left is giving little ground as Peter Spiro, a Temple University law professor, says that the new law “sends a clear message that Arizona is unfriendly to undocumented aliens”. Hello? What state is friendly to illegal immigrants? Does this ‘law’ professor know the ‘law’?

Of course he’s miffed. If more states pass similar laws, the Kenyan/Indonesian/Brit won’t be able to campaign in all 57 states.

Illegal immigration is a major problem that is destroying a lot of states and is bankrupting most of their economies. Illegal aliens are running up the crime rates and filling up our prisons. What is Barack the Kenyan’s response? THROW THE RACE CARD. “History” my ass. Inexperience and incompetence is not a good thing. Especially during these times.

King Obama and his Administration along with the Democrat RATS are in violation of the Constitution to protect it's borders. States should sue the damn Government.

There is a lot of talk on both sides about immigration reform, but not much talk or focus on securing the border.

...to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans,

Funny, I thought we were a Nation of laws and equal justice for all.

Bammie illustrates once again he knows nothing about America.

As usual, Freepers are on top of the issue. See the second link below on why Arizona is right, and Obama is a fool, when it comes to the law.

My suggestion is that he should live in Southern Arizona for a week or two and find out what it’s really like. Of course, it wouldn’t work since he has Secret Service protection. Something property owners down there do not have.

I was just watching the FOX Chris Wallace Sunday morning show. They covered the new Arizona law and blabbed about it being “unconstitutional” and how the Republicans were going to lose the Hispanic voters that never vote for Republicans anyway. Doo Dah, Doo Dah. The next topic was the economy and how we were going to have to cut benefits and raise taxes in order to save the world. I wonder if they know how moronic they looked by not combining the two topics. We’re going to give citizenship to 30 million foreign nationals while trying to cut freebies and “entitlements”? Don’t they know it’s “unconstitutional” and “racist” to cut off government freebies and handouts to “newly minted U.S. citizens”?

Our elite is totally out of touch with reality, and FOX is supposed to represent the “conservative” side of the debate which appears to be minor quibbling with the NYT’s editorial board.

“basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans,”
If you want to become an American citizen, obey our laws.

“as well as the trust between police and their communities that is so crucial to keeping us safe”
Because the feds won’t enforce their own laws, we don’t trust them.

Will someone say to Obama, “if the federal government was doing its job on the border states would not have to enact their own laws to protect themselves against this illegal invasion”.

It was all about political implications of the law and not about citizens live or border security and the impact this has on our country.

Governor’s predecessor, Janet Napolitano, vetoed two similar bills. Now I understand why Obama chose her as head of Homeland Security: Napolitano is pro-illegal immigration and open borders, apparently, regardless of how many terrorists slip over the border with the others. She is violating federal law by ignoring the problem.

Texas will, along with Louisiana, all of the original Southern States below the 30/30 (Mason Dixon Line), Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Kansas, Oklahoma, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Rhodes Island, New Jersey, N/S Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming.

This will be the tinderbox that restores the Constitution to its original form. The States set the rules and will control the Federal Government.
