Since we are all equal, that makes total sense. Otherwise, some would be “more equal” than others. ;)
First, let’s obey the Constitution.
If they ignore the Equal Protection clause, they'll certainly ignore this too.
The socialists have been ignoring the Constitution for decades. Another Amendment will only be ignored as is the Constitution as a whole. That is assuming it would ever pass the state legislatures and Congress. The answer is to defend the Constitution as it is currently written.
I’d much rather see an amendment clarifying that Congress has no authority to force citizens to purchase any good or service.
