Looks good. Anything to get the truth out there.
I always take these opportunities to remind people that Susan G. Komen for the Cure donates to Planned Parenthood. If you buy anything with their logo, you are contributing to PP. Also, the Catholic Church still endorses Komen because they claim that they make sure the money goes just to breast cancer issues, not abortions. I don’t believe the rationalization, but to each his own.
Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't know this -- although I'm not in the least surprised.
Pass the word on.
For reference:
Susan G. Komen for the Cure awards 72 grants to Planned Parenthood in 2000-2005 period .
bump!
Do you think PBS would show this?

“Thank you for showing your interest in this pro-life documentary. We believe that if we can show there is support for seeing this film in theaters we will find a distributor willing to take a chance on this controversial topic. So please tell your friends, family, and your church and help us build public support.
Individuals and family members are often hurt emotionally following an abortion. If you, or someone you know, needs help, please contact Abortion Recovery InterNational (1-866-4-My-Recovery)

I do too!
The reason I don’t believe the rationalization is that Susan G. Komen’s sister (Nancy Brinker) who started the foundation was a Planned Parenthood board member in Dallas. While I don’t remember where I read it, it was reported that the Komen foundation gave money to Planned Parenthood, they had a new $5 million mill in Dallas.

Look under “Issues” for more information on Komen as well as March of Dimes and Unicef.
Not until the left demonizes abortion.
I wish the website listed where the movie would be shown, according to states.

Know anyone who would want to host this movie?
Re: post #14, it looks like the Spectrum cancelled the movie. Anybody know for sure? I wonder if Planned Parenthood got to them????
Please ping anyone in NY’s capital district who you think might be interested in seeing this prolife documentary, Blood Money. The movie will be at the Madison Theater in Albany, NY. Details here:
http://www.madison-theater.com/
It appears the Spectrum chickened out, but I don’t think the Madison will, but you might want to call to confirm first.
See you there, prolifers.
Check out this page from the Susan G. Komen website, especially the “Planned Parenthood Statement” and “Cooperation with Philanthropic Organizations”:

Perhaps “endorse” was a poor word choice. “Support” and “encourage” are better terms.
that is the opinion only of 2 writers, published by
The Catholic Health Association of the United States
They don’t speak for the Catholic Church or the Bishops or anyone but their own organization.
