SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - Apolo Anton Ohno may be feted at home for his Olympic feats, but he's better known in South Korea as the "king of fouls."
The American short-track speedskater, who goes up against the South Koreans again when he races for a historic seventh Winter Olympics medal on Saturday, may well be the athlete South Koreans hate the most.
One company once sold toilet paper emblazoned with Ohno's face: Ohno joyfully winning the gold, Ohno kissing his medal, Ohno laughing. One video game features an Ohno character you can shoot in the head, and to call something "Ohnolike" is to deride it as a dirty trick.

At the last Seahawk game of the season they handed out freebies that was a Ohno “soul patch”. I wonder if I should ebay it...anyone want to buy a soul patch?
Tell those SoKos if it wasn’t for the country Ohno competes for, they’d be starving along with their brethren in the North.
There is some racial undertones as his dad is Japanese and Koreans are not big fan of the Japanese. Also his mom is white and Koreans do not look kindly on “half-breeds”.
What event does this guy do?
I hate short track. The races might as well be only one lap as nothing happens until the final lap, and too many races are decided by subjective foul calls, or the lack thereof.
I never liked Ohno much, but the whining South Koreans make me want to root for him.

I thought it was an absolute HOOT that the Korean in third place took out his teammate by trying to sneak in for silver. They got what they deserved.

Ohno didn't have anything to do with that crash but thanks for the cheap Silver and Bronze medals for the US team, Korea.
