There is also evidence that some of the Kosovo Serbs were kidnapped in 1999 and taken to Albania by the KLA Albanians, where their vital organs were taken from them and sold on the blackmarket for illegal transplants.
I think you're right. I now think he picked Palin because he and his team calculated that a strong conservative woman would really kill his chances. But she surprised them with her popularity, precisely because they don't get it, and tried to undermine her when they realized she was carrying the whole ticket. I am certain that she drew at minimum five million more votes than he would have gotten without her.
And after the fact, a bi-Partisan team of (eventually over 35, mostly Republican) members of Congress sued Clinton for the NATO Bombing of Yugoslavia, as it was un-Constituional. Tom Tancredo was one of them, as was Ron Paul, but the news never picked up on it.
It was John McCain who made a name for himself on the NATO Bombing of Yugoslavia because before this few people outside of Arizona knew his name.
I’ve taken a look at the one little 30-minute documentary a couple of posters here have suggested, but that doesn’t begin to tell the story as I’ve read it. Like I say there has to be some way for the average American to see this.
The Russians (who may be wrong on many things but not on this) made a film about Kosovo that is on youtube in 7 parts.
But to get films like this made and shown to a general American audience is difficult. The money isn't there and those films that have gotten made play to small audiences because neither the media networks nor PBS will touch it. It's un-pc.
In many ways, I feel like it is we in the US who are living in the old Soviet Union when it comes to the subject of Kosovo.
the folks who claim they do and reject the proNATO/US line are pro-communists.
NOPE— not at all.
There are many of us “folks” who reject NATO’s bombing of an ally like Serbia and who are very pro US, just not the direction it has taken over the years, politically and morally.
IN this post modern surreal age we live in...you need to understand that the US - policies do not represent the best interests of Christians and free markets.
Basically, any Christian who doesn’t have a problem with NATO policies in the Balkans hasn’t been paying attention.
Besides the oil games....General Weaseley Clark expressed the new age approach to world hegemony. During the bombing of Serbia the weasel said this:
“There is no place in modern Europe for ethnically pure states. Thats a 19th-century idea and we are trying to transition into the 21st century, and we are going to do it with multiethnic states.
That’s right. the NWO coming fast...and everybody but Muslim states needs to abide by its rules.
During the Cold War, you couldn't have found a more pro-Tito, pro-Communist group than our own US State Department. Anyone who said anything against communism in Yugoslavia, was considered by them to be "a troublemaker" -- even 500 US Airmen who wanted to honor the anti-communist Serbs who saved them during WWII, were treated like pariahs.
But once the Soviet Union died, both Great Britain (who actually installed communism in Yugoslavia) and the US State Department who supported it, shed their responsibility like a snake sheds its skin and they blamed the Serbs for everything.
But today, there are a lot of people on both the Right and the Left who reject NATO because they believe that it is the military arm of the New World Order. After what I have seen with Kosovo, I can't say that I disagree.
My own view of the thing might be simpler than most of that. I simply do not want my tax dollars being used to bomb Christians for the sake of slammites, and that goes quadruple or quintuple when the Christians are totally innocent and the slammites a hoard of narco-terrorist savages with a political organization which is basically a branch office of AlQuaeda.
I couldn't have said that better myself.
