I can't be the only one who noticed the drive by journalist's question to Rush at the end of this video.
(And sorry if this video is a re post, but I wanted to emphasize the question this biased hack asked)
Right at the 5 minute mark, the guy asks Limbaugh if he's on pain killers again.
Rush’s response should have been, “When did you stop beating your wife?”
Yeh! LOL
His laughing at the question was a good second best and then getting away from the activist hiding in journalist’ garb.
First let me say, I am not a troll.
He probably is. He has been complaining of back pain for a few weeks now and on a couple of shows he seemed to be having difficulty with his normally polished delivery.
That said. Who cares?
If he was on meds for pain, there is nothing wrong with that.
Millions of people are.
He had to expect the question. It is not the same as asking the question, when did you stop beating your wife? He actually was addicted to the painkillers. I’m glad that he is off of them. This is coming from a huge Rush fan.
Saw it live. Pathetic MSM puke. Not fit to shine El Rushbo’s shoes.
Rush looked marvelous at that press conference.
I heard on Fox News that he is taking prednisone for the back pain.
Obviously, he’s not on painkillers if he’s complaining of pain.
Well that isnt a painkiller
Well, I’m being serious when I say I was wondering about it weeks ago.
It is quite possible that the pain itself is what was putting him off his game on those few days that his delivery wasnt focused.
I understand.
It’s not a painkiller, but will help aleviate (sp?) pain, I know- I take it, too.
Oh, the guy was a snot-nosed twerp - what else is new? Rush’s response was perfect: the knowing chuckle, the straight answer, no hint of the irritation or embarrassment that the twerp was clearly trying to provoke. If anything, the exchange was a plus for Rush - he came off looking like the bigger man by a mile.
I’m glad the stuff works.
Not strictly speaking. Pain killers work by blocking the transmission of pain signals from the nerves to the brain. Prednisone works to remove the cause of the pain, not block pain that's already happening. The goal is the same, they just approach it in different ways. It's not the same kind of painkiller he had problems with when he went into rehab.
This question would be like a reporter asking B.O. at the next presidential news conference, “Do you still use coke?”
I read that he is on steroids (Prednisone) this bad stuff and definitely not recreational.
That’s what I heard Rush say too.
He may be taking prednisone for a short period of time to be followed by a round of Mobic or something...hope it isn’t something he has to take for an extended period of time.
Prayers for Rush’s health and safety.
The liberal MSM has not changed in 50 years!
When Whittaker Chambers died in July of 1961, there were some in the media who speculated about a suicide pact.
His wife, Ester, would follow him by taking her own life a few minutes later. This was wishful thinking on the part of many partisan MSM types like James Reston and others.
They hated Chambers so much because of the damage he did to Alger Hiss and other Communist and fellow travelers(then beloved by the media).
They can't control themselves in their general delight at the death or misfortune of someone they hate or disagree with.
Now we have the likes of Letterman, Obermann and Wanda Sykes doing this on TV.
It's as if leftism is a disease or perhaps more like the Great Black Plague of the 14th Century AD. It just keeps coming back every generation.
Pity them and Hooray for Rush Limbaugh!
