Here is video of Florida Gator Coach Urban Meyer, and Quarterback Tim Tebow holding a Press Conference last night after the Gators crushed the previously unbeatan Cincinnati Bearcats 51-24 to win the Sugar Bowl. The game was the final one of Tebow's college career, and the last game indefinitely for Coach Meyer, who will begin an "indefinite leave of absence" today to deal with some health issues. . . . Nice to watch Tim Tebow but that was it.
Cincinnati was way out of their talent level.
If they want to play with the big boys then they need to join a real football confrence.
What an embarrassment.
Congrats to Tim Tebow, who seems to be one of the class acts in all of sports. Good luck to him in whatever he chooses to do in the future.
Yeah, I turned it off before the half. Cincinnati’s lucky streak ran into a bowl of Gators...
I was quite pleased to see Cinn. get ‘pwn3d’
MY prior perception was that the Bearcats were a bunch of showboats and playground ball players. Watching that game confirmed by preconceptions.
One play in particular — #4 on Cinn defense put his knee down hard onto the chest of the Florida player who had just broken/hyperextended his arm. The Gator was on the ground and this guy just flat out kneed him to inflict pain. Low class thug.
Sounds like ND will be back to “normal”. Doing enough with Kelly to make BCS games then getting blown out. ND is happy getting the big paycheck.
There are 2 things to this.
I wholeheartedly agree that Florida is more talented than Cincy, I believe that position by position they are the most talented in the nation. For the NFL, they have 2-3 skill players, 3 OL, 4-5 DL, and about 6 LB/DB starting. Anyone who has read Phil Steele’s magazine has heard about his PS#, which he takes rankings from the major recruiting sites, averages them, and then rates them on a PS#. So for instance, a guy who is rated 1 or 2 in every publication will be ahead of a guy rated 1 by 1 publication and 3 by all the rest. Florida has players with PS#s in the 50’s as backups.
So, while Florida is talented and probably would have beaten Cincy no matter the circumstances, I still have to wonder what would have happened if Kelly hadnt left and if the guy coaching wasnt going to leave. That has to have a major aspect on these 18-24 year olds.

Florida beat Kentucky 41-7, Georgia 41-17, and Florida State 37-10 during the 2009 season. If Kentucky, Geogia, and Florida State want to play with the big boys, maybe they need to join a real football conference. Oh, wait .......
Geogia = Georgia
Yes, you are right.
Still looked like a high school team out there.
My football prowess, college or pro, is undeniable.
My favorite pro team is and always has been the Rams.
I feel your admiration already!
