That’s a juvenile based on plumage.
Thank goodness it did not get near his hands - those talons could crush his hand w/ 1000# psi.
w/ 1000# psi of pressure...
I noticed that too.
It looks like a falconer’s tether.
THX.
Was just my ignorant inexperienced observation.
All:
Yes, so we can tell, tell, tell
On this humid Monday morning in this

And as just as Tom here has written
Though the egg may belong to Great Britain,
The eagle inside belongs to us!

We say to hell with Great Britain!
The eagle inside belongs to us!
The leather strap means the eagle is a “kite” . =)
lol.
The first time I took my son (then 10) to Seattle, we went to Ivars for fish and chips on the docks. Ivar had signs posted (5’ X 8’) recommending that customers FEED THE GULLS!
Apparently some econuts had protested Ivars making food available to gulls.
My son got his lunch and went out to look across Puget Sound from the rail on the dock. I took the perfect photo of a gull snatching a fry out of his hand from a rear assault. LOL, the kid never saw it coming, and it was over before he could freak out, which he did. He ate the rest of his lunch under cover of the enclosed lanai. LOL. I don’t have an electronic copy of the pic, but it was my best photo... looks a whole bunch like the eagle pic above :o)

That’s the first I heard you actually took photos. Do you ever share them? The new skate board opened this weekend and I took a few photos with the Canon A540 I carry in my pickup...
Well, it was a photograph taken sixteen years ago. I don’t know for sure where it is, just that I have it. Somewhere. Um.
