Wow. Why the heck do people hate him? His show is great and really showcases old-fashioned diners.
I really don’t give a care what some stuffy New Yorker thinks whose idea of food is some tiny plate with a drizzle of some weird concoction over a tiny piece of lettuce or some crap like that.

His show is great and really showcases old-fashioned diners. The show would be better without him. :)

I think most of his critics are OK with the food and places he covers. It's him they don't care for.

I like Fieri, and enjoy his Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It's interesting to see all the different restaurants in the country that have been open for ages, and serve top-notch food!! Apparently if you haven't graduated from a culinary school, you are looked down upon by the snobs in the business. It's kind of like the way journalists look down their noses at people and websites who present the news, simply because they don't have a four-year degree in journalism. They're all so full of themselves they stink.

I agree, i don't come from the crowd that thinks quantity equals quality. I don't begin to understand how little pieces of meat ontop of baby food could possiblly pass as a meal.
I've visited 2 of Guys show spots, and both were excllent.

That's not to mention the price of the meal...now, THAT'S pretentious. LOL.
