KILLEEN, Tex. — Leaders of the vibrant Muslim community here expressed outrage on Friday at the shooting rampage being laid to one of their members, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who had become a regular attendee of prayers at the local mosque.
But some of the men who had befriended Major Hasan at the mosque said the military should examine the policies that might have caused him to snap.
“When a white guy shoots up a post office, they call that going postal,” said Victor Benjamin II, 30, a former member of the Army. “But when a Muslim does it, they call it jihad.

To my knowledge, no white guy has ever shot up a Post Office yelling “Christ is risen” because his religion made it an obligation of faith. Claiming racism is a lame excuse for blood-thirsty Islam that we have, unfortunately, taught them.

....."Going Postal" is something people have termed for snapping and shooting your co-workers.
.....Jihad is what muslims have called it themselves. Yelling ALLAH AKBAHR when doing it only adds to the Jihad perception. It is an act of religious war.
In short, they are both killings, but with different reasons.

When someone “goes postal,” it truly is a sign of insanity.
That is, THEY DON’T DO IT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DICTATES OF THEIR EXTREMIST INTERPRETATION OF THEIR RELIGION.
If they are not atheists, then it is pretty much guaranteed that they are doing it IN CONTRADICTION OF THEIR RELIGION.
Plus, being an MD, he wasn’t on the front lines.
His duty would have been to counsel those who were truly suffering PTSD.

Hasan was simply obeying the Koran. Not even the moderate muslims can deny that these suras mean what they say.

It’s “vibrant” for two reasons. 1) Open borders and 2) Army recruitment. Anyone should be able to figure that out.

Sick of the excuses being made to justify and or explain how Major Hasan seemed to be compelled to do what he did.
There was no such compulsion.
If he was that conflicted about his coming deployment, he could have gone UA/AWOL/Missed a movement. Believe me THAT would have gotten the Army’s attention.
No, his interpretation of his religion’s requirements may have been the source of the stress he was under. But in the end, Major Hasan choose what he did and what he did was commit murder, pure and simple.
I understand he is now back at an Army hospital in San Antonio. I wish him the very best in terms of recovering from his wounds. I want him to get well so the Army can court martial and then execute him. Unfortunately, the federal government uses lethal injection. I’d prefer to see him hang.

PLUS the key to all of this is that the KorAn FORBIDS a Muslim from supporting ,assisting etc, anyone that fights and possibly kills Muslims. WHAT ABOUT THAT DOES THE MEDIA NOT UNDERSTAND.
Wait until some judge rules that Jihad comes under the protection of the 1st Amendment. You can be assured that this concept has been studied by CAIR and the ACLU for years.

The Muslim communties’ silence in not outright condemning any act like this done even on the thinnest possiblility of being religiously motivated is deafening. Unless and until that community proactively preaches against these acts their “protestations” are meaningless. Notice that in all of their protestations, they never once say that anyone in their community acting this way is in fact condemned to hell. Their condemnations are nothing more than thinly veiled whinings about how others react negatively to these events. In my mind, that is the same as approval. Their choice is easy. Actively clean out your own house, or get out of ours. Now.
