Right now I’m more interested in the two that were apprehended - wondering if they are of xyz descent also and that is very vague. That could mean born in U.S. I’m of Irish/English and German descent but my ancestors have been hear for 300 years and 150 years respectively (Irish/Anglo side since 1600s).

Just guessing. But we do have lots of express line “citizens” in our military, esp. Marines from what I’ve heard.
His cousin said that Hasan’s parents are Americans. Of course that doesnt mean that they were born here.
Dont know for sure, but my guess is that Hasan was born here. The cousin said he lived in the U.S. all his life.

We have a lot of other “homegrown terrorists” in the military who are from criminal street gangs. I can never figure out how that happens, as they are easy to spot and a cursory investigation should reveal their affiliations. They would hook up with the other terrorists in a heartbeat if there was something in it for them.
Not just the military, my friend. Obama's government is making an all out effort to recruit middle east types to all government agencies, including intel. Actually being given preference, no lie.

I read about that last year, specific to Texas latinos, and didn’t follow up on it. The tattoos are a dead giveaway for one thing, so I don’t know how they even qualify for the military. And then there is something called a “background check,” right...???
