There's TRUE hope.
Can we please bring Duncan Hunter back into that discussion, as well?
I like both, but neither have any chance in winning. Palin’s interviews killed her with the general public and Duncin never had the charisma, although he had great, great ideas. I don’t know who would fit the ignorant, general public’s need for a good-looking, young slick-talker and the base’s (and for America’s own good) need for a small-government leader that is principled and has the past record to prove it. Mitt doesn’t have the past, nor does Huckabee (besides he’s gained all 300 pounds back and looks horrible!). Does anybody have any ideas other than Palin or Duncan? Please, if you’re going to say Palin or Hunter, just save your time. I don’t even want to discuss it. I’m wondering about fresh faces with the background and policy we all love.
Welcome to FR.
Thanks so much for your whining.
That has got to be the single most emotive picture, ever.
Though this poster objects to the bikini-clad Governor.
That’s not what Governor Palin’s about!
She’s about ideas. And leadership...
Please, let’s let her husband worry about how beautiful she might be.
Thanks so much for your whining.
Whatever. Welcome? Yeah, you're such an ol' timer. I was a member of this site, under an old name, far longer than you (since 1999). But, nice try at being a veteran and your ignorance shows in your lack of an idea when I politely asked for ideas.
So who do you support in 2012?
Oh enlightened one.
The great leaders now are Inhofe , Sessions and I think Cornyn is moving up fast. No women please.
Read the original post to which you rudely replied! I was asking for advice and you reacted like a child. It’s time to grow up, “ol’ timer.”
Huh??
Well, I doubt it’s the “single most emotive picture, ever.” It’s just a statuette with Palin’s face overlayed. And a sleeping rhino in the background. It’s called “fun”. I’m enjoying the hopeful signs of a conservative resurgence. This is a celebratory image. Besides, she probably looks better in a bikini than this crummy statuette.
Look.
You started out of the gate, like Levi Johnston.
If you have an objection to Governor Palin, say so.
I ask again:
WHO DO YOU SUPPORT IN 2012?
Cring,
Don’t waste your breath on ES.
Some people don’t get the idea that we are a country of comebacks. If I only had a nickle for everytime someone said a politician, athlete or CEO was washed up only to come back.
By the time 2012 arrives, people will be so sick of BHO (the economy in such a continued tizzy) that even sparky the wonder dog could win....and Palin’s critics know it.
For someone (Palin) who is “so washed up after two interviews”, agw sure is creating a lot of buzz with a book, speaking deals and calls from candidates wanting her help. Palin critics (malcontents, purists, Huckesters, Romneybots, MSM, liberals, etc.,) will say anything and do anything to trash her.
Oscar Meyer...
I’m going to go read up on their records now. I just want somebody to get behind early so that I can get to work doing my part. No more NY-23 messes if I can help it. Speaking of which, I think Sessions and his NRCC supported and endorsed Suzzyfava over there in NY-23. That one move would rule him out automatically in my book.
We let the media choose our candidate last time...the one they loved, the one the country loved (at least when he as bashing Bush)...the perfect moderate. I had NEVER seen a Republican treated so well in the media (before the fall campaign, that is).
“I like both, but neither have any chance in winning. Palins interviews killed her with the general public...”
...and what did we get? A blowout from a totally inexperienced person.
The bottom line is that NO ONE in the Republican Party is out bounds at this point. If Sarah screws up...maybe has a fling with another guy (for example), then yes, I’ll be the first to say that she’s washed up.
BUT THE HELL IF I AM GOING TO LET THE MEDIA MAKE THAT DECISION FOR ME. You can let them do it for you, though.
That isn't true and looking at the years polls show that.
Palin for POTUS
Condoleezza Rice for VPOTUS
“I was a member of this site, under an old name, far longer than you (since 1999).”
LOL! Got banned for life, huh?
One, all of the networks you listed are ridiculous. And, two, I'm far to the right of Mitt, Huck, and Scuzzyfava-supporting-and-endorsing Newt. All I did was suggest that Palin ruined her chances with the same ignorant mass that elected Jimmy Carter number three, Obama. I like her, in fact I went to one of her final appearances in 2008 in Colorado Springs at the airfield, but now she has no chance.
It's funny. I remember people reacting with the same anger over people calling out Carter number two, W, over his F-ups; people reacting with the same ignorant anger at people calling Mitt what he was and is - a big government liberal - back in the run-up to McShame's nomination; and, the silly anger over those who wanted to support Ron Paul who happened to be the only one calling this financial mess before it happened. So, please, save your anger and just discuss your ideas; it's no wonder outsiders see us as a bunch of angry nutcases and certainly the reason why we have such a hard time meeting our financial goals on FreeRepublic.
Waiting for an answer to that question:
Who do you support in 2012?
I definitely think you are right. When Palin let Katie Couric manipulate her like that, she proved that she could not win a presidential election. Democrat ads will also excoriate her for “walking away from her job” in 2009.
Blah. Blah. Blah.
“I definitely think you are right. When Palin let Katie Couric manipulate her like that, she proved that she could not win a presidential election. Democrat ads will also excoriate her for walking away from her job in 2009.”
Sorry, but your guy is NOT going to win by having you bash Sarah...but feel free to try.
“The” question:
Who do you support in 2012?...
Say it.
Well, from this very recent poll, it shows that the ignorant masses don't think the way we think of Palin: "Seventy-one percent of those questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Wednesday morning believe the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee is not qualified to be president, with 29 percent saying she does have the credentials to serve in the White House. Republicans appear split, with 52 percent saying she's qualified and 47 percent disagreeing with that view."

Or it was an old name that no longer fit my new lifestyle. I was 22 years old when I began and one does a lot of growing up in ten years. Going to war does a lot to change things also.

Amazing description.
What is the name on your other account?
Before I waste time on a retread I want to be able to look at your posting history, what is your other freeper name?
Watch your step, all of your marbles just fell out of your bag.
That was the point of my original post. I was aking for other thoughts and inputs. I don't know who I support yet in 2012. If Palin gets the nomination, she'll get my vote, although I don't think she will. If somebody like McCain or Mitt gets the nomination, I'll vote on principle and will vote third party. But as of now, I don't know who I'm voting for.
So you’re a Mitten.
And embarrassed.
We all understand...
Can’t agree with Rice. She is not a conservative, is not popular, and would bring nothing to the ticket.
Palin needs another tough TEA Party type for Blue Collar appeal.
Palin / Hunter.
We don’t know what he is because he took on a cover identity to hide his past here after he was banned, the guy is a retread troll.
I agree with Eng. Doesnt mean I dont like or respect Palin. I am just stating an observation and gut feeling...She wont carry over from the base.
She left most non partisans with a lingering impression that she lacks intelligence and a command of a lot of the issues.
Now, you may correctly say that the same is true for Barry and Joe - and you would be correct. But the reason the RATS get away with having inferior candidates is that the media will cover and protect them. We dont have that luxury, even with Fox.
Therefore, the GOP needs to have superior candidates just to level the field.
As far as 2012, I dont have a short list. But I suggest that instead of focusing on the superficial (WHOS our leader), lets solidify the conservative message and pound the dhimms (in 2010) and highlight the damage they have dealt this country.
Take back the house, neutralize the senate. Get back to core principles, and hold the elected GOP to account (unlike the W years).
the public (non partisans) will put he GOP back in the majority and raise the chances of dethroning Barry in 2012.
While Palin will help energize the base, I highly doubt she will be on the 12 ticket.
THAT is a series challenge.
Is he up to the challenge?...
Still waiting, for the preferred 2012 candidate, of the so-called poster.
Bro, I've tried being patient with your foolishness, all to no avail. You and me obviously disagree and conversing with you is like arguing with a five year old who refuses to be sane.
Still waiting...
For that 2012 preferred candidate.
Seven times now, I have asked you:
Who do you support in 2012?
Who do you support in 2012?
You rambling fool. Look back to post 3 and post 33.
Who do you support in 2012?
CORRECTION, IT SHOULD HAVE READ: You rambling fool. Look back to post 3 and post 38.
