Old doctors will tell ya - if a biopsy is done on ever guy who dies, most will have prostate cancer

Let's hope for the best for this quirky, loveable flake.

As one who has been through it, I wish him all the best.

"Red Rock West" - my favorite role of his.

Prostate cancer is a bitch. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemies.

Well, maybe except the Taliban.

I hope Mr. Hopper hangs in there.
Even though he did publically support Obama (like some other ill-informed
types)...
he’s been viewed as a closeted conservative by Hollyweird.

Because he usually bring in his productions under-budget and
ahead of schedule.

Hopper had a small part in “True Grit”, but in recent decades is probably best known for his role in “Blue Velvet”. :’)

I’m praying for Dennis. Treatment is so good these days, he should be in good shape, if it was caught early.

Old doctors will tell ya - if a biopsy is done on ever guy who dies, most will have prostate cancer...

Actually, a few years ago there was a study that analyzed the prostates of young men that had been killed in crashes (I don't remember the details but they might have been teenagers) and it was found that a very high percentage of even those had cancerous cells as well. Wish I could find the study but I seem to remember the number being higher than 25%. I think that if you are a guy, you should just assume that you have prostate cancer but with the understanding that it is usually so slow growing that in the end, you will probably die of something else. The problem with biopsies is that if nothing is found, it probably just means the mesh size was too large....if you search hard enough, you will eventually find something. The problem is that by the time something is found, there probably won't be much left of the prostate by then.

I had it at age 52, treatment failed. Had it again age 57, treatment worked, PSA < 0.1 !

At age 73, he’ll probably die of something else. I may not have survived and would not be writing this if I wasn’t treated.

I have heard lots of sex is good for the prostate, flushes stuff out of there regularly.

I mean lots of sex is good for its own sake, but specifically the prostate’s health...
