A gunshot ripped through the darkness and a young British soldier fell dying on FOB Jackson. I was just nearby talking on the satellite phone and saw the commotion. The soldier was taken to the medical tent and a helicopter lifted him to the excellent trauma center at Camp Bastion. That he made it to Camp Bastion alive dramatically improved his chances. But his life teetered and was in danger of slipping away. Making matters worse, the British medical system back in the United Kingdom did not possess the specialized gear needed to save his life. Americans had the right gear in Germany, and so the British soldier was put into the American system.

We treasure life. We are willing to spend almost anything, and risk our own lives, to save the life of another human being. We even try to save our enemies.
They love death. They are creatures motivated by the dictates of Satan. This is what our men and women are fighting against.
Some of the best and most innovative new medicical practice has come from the military and what they do to save lives.
Do Americans Care About British Soldiers?
This American does. As I do for all soldiers from any Nation that is fighting to defeat the scourge of the Islamofacists.
Last summer after a fallen heroes service at FT Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.I stopped for something to eat at a near by restaurant. I saw severalsoldiers witharm flag patches that I did not immediately recognize. They were Polish troops. I went over to their table and thanked them for the service and told them howmuch Iamdmy family appreciated the sacrifices they were making tomake the world a better place for all.
The War with Terror still exists no matter what Obama says..........
I thank God for our military people and the blessing they are to the United States of America and the world.
Americans have demonstrated throughout our history how much we do care about others.
May God continue to bless the goodness in this nation and help it to overcome the evil - foreign and domestic - that is attempting to destroy us.
The thought that came to me as I was reading this story, wiping tears from my eyes, is - if we had a national news media worth a fraction of the efforts for freedom of our military men and women, this story would have been plastered all over television and news print for days, building up morale and cementing good will among the people of the world toward America. Alas, our “journalists” are too busy with their own agenda and that of those much less noble than the men and women in this story.
May the blessings given by the people in this story come back to them 100 fold.
The media have become the fifth column enemy of we the people. The term ‘quisling traitors’ comes to mind as these bold liars for the obamessiah work their trade of propaganda ministry.
And I mean that seeming redundancy in the sense of ‘collaborating traitors’, not just run of the mill traitors.
That is unfortunately true. And, it’s not just news media that has been taken over, of course. I pray, and HOPE, that we haven’t waited too late to make the CHANGE necessary to preserve the America bequeathed to us.
