We got our first TV in May of 1948. We were treated to alot of those movies from the 30s which had sat in film vaults for 15+ years. Tarzan, Jungle Jim, and many other parts filled by Johnny Weismeuller and these beautiful damsels in distress were fulfilled many a nights dreams!
Did you know that...

In place of the beer and cigars he enjoyed in his youth he will be given a sugarfree cake to avoid aggravating his diabetes, and the proceedings will involve nothing more flamboyant than the singing of Happy Birthday beside the swimming

All the Janes were attractive. I remember the one who was Jane (I wonder where they got the name Jane?) Fonda’s Mother was a real babe. Actually Jane Fonda was pretty at least on the outside which is rare for commies.

The exotic story lines and the action were appealing to this 9 y/o boy watching movies on tv in 1961, but Jane was always special too. Brenda Joyce was a great one.

“Of whom are you speaking of whos 77?”
I’m pretty sure its Cheeta the Chimp. They got him strung out on cigars and beer. Perhaps that’s what has kept him going.
