Let’s be careful - Sotomayor and Obama are touting the value of having “empathy”, and this could be spun that way.

THIS is the important part, folks...

An Officer’s oath is to the CONSTITUTION, not to the President.

An unlawful leader cannot give a lawful order. And the Nurenburg trials set precedent in that an Officer can be held personally liable for following unlawful orders.

The Judge took an oath to support and defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic not only as a Marine, but again as a Judge.

He’s just upholding his oath of office.
