I sure enjoyed Star Trek the Next Generation, Babylon 5, Stargate SG1, Farscape, Andromeda on Sci=Fi. There just isn’t anything more on the station to drool about. What’s on leaves me ho hum.

I’ve seen Eureka & Warehouse 13 but both leave me “ho hum”. “Supernatural” on Thursday nights (not on Sci-Fi) is more interesting than Eureka, Warehouse 13 & Sanctuary. Dean (one of two brothers) is every person, and I sure enjoy his performances. He’s so typical male that men could relate to him, i.e. not while he was in Hell.

Is Merlin sci fi or fantasy?
There are all sorts of fantasy shows - think witches or paranormal activities or super heroes etc.
What is the specific definition of sci fi for the purposes of these threads?

If you want to watch full old star trek episodes (TOS) go to either tv.com or cbs.com

Just finished my first read through Lois McMaster Bujold's Miles Vorkosigan series. The last few episodes seem to have run out of heart, alas. The earlier books were permeated by a legacy of Christianity, which appears, alas, to have leeched out towards the end. JMHO ...

I’m still mad that the Sarah Connor Chronicles was cancelled. The folks over at their Wiki are renting a mobile billboard to try to get a season 3. I hope it works. Too many unanswered questions!
To: BenLurkin
I agree on both counts. I hpoed for more.

“Cute female lead though!”
I’m guessing that’s what kept it from getting a D?

Cool, another 'Meteor is gonna destroy the Earth' movie. Featuring George Costanza???
That Warehouse 13 seems like a ripoff of my favorite old series 'Friday the 13th'. I will give Eureka another try, I couldn't get into the first time around.
To: LS
I’d love to watch Eureka, but they only seem to show the same episodes from last season. (Yes, I know the new season started, but the last three marathons were all the same episodes — and they’re the only ones I’ve seen.)

I really like both (Warehouse & Eureka). Not so fond of Sanctuary and Primeval. Battlestar was starting to get stale, hated the finale enough that if they revived it for some reason, I wouldn’t watch it. I’m hopeful, though, about the new Stargate.

I was surprised that they axed Sarah Connor and kept Dollhouse. SCC was some fine science fiction.

Been a long time fan of ‘Eureka’ since its start. ‘Warehouse 13’ has potential. Especially Saul Rubinek’s Artie and CCH Pounder’s Mrs. Frederick. The two leads, Pete and Myka just need some time to grow into their roles.
Never caught the ‘BSG’ bug. ‘Primeval’ was a good concept poorly executed.
Looking forward to the return of ‘Dollhouse’.
Jack.
