What causes a frozen shoulder, Meg? Were both shoulders bad at the same time? Did it hurt when they were doing the procedure and did you have several sessions?

I might have known ‘you would have a train on there’! teehee!
If my husband was back I would ride the roller coaster with him every time he asked...maybe...? He loved to ride them when we would go to the beach. Of course when the kids were with us they would all ride. I just didn’t like those huge coasters. I rode it once and said ‘never again’. I rode everything else...LOL!

PTs need 7 years of school and learn a shipload of stuff; they are amazing and usually quite friendly and positive.

A year and a half ago I herniated two disks and need pt. It involved the sciatic nerve and a couple others.

There’ll be an -itis in your diagnosis and that's the swelling they'll work on decreasing with stretching exercises, heat and ice.

Don't know how much your exercises will compare to mine but bet some will.

Do them at home and you'll do fine.

Absolutely NOT! Did you ever like coasters?

Not really. I love a couple roller coaster-like rides at Disney World but they’re too mild for most enthusiasts.

There is one big really scary roller coaster at Disney that had tight restrictions about who could ride it. I didn’t want to ride it but hubby and the youngest son rode it more than once. Everyone says it was scary but loads of fun if you like them.

I rode that big thing at Epcot Center (inside that big ball thing.) Can’t remember its name. It wasn’t fast, just huge. And dark inside with sparkly, flashing lights. You sit in these little cars and went really high but I enjoyed that. Its been so long I forget a lot about it.

I always loved Disney, Epcot, and that other one they opened, visiting foreign lands. Wonderful memories!

When I look at Pfc. Matthew W. Wilson's face, it breaks my heart. Just a few days ago he was alive. God Rest His Soul and God be with his wonderful grieving family.

I dislocated both shoulders..I aggravated already injured shoulders..I caught a box of books from a garage shelf instead of the Chrismas decor I thought they were while standing on my car hood ..I saved the car..
The next day was I using a wheelbarrow loaded with items for a church rummage sale..One lady kept putting one more thing on the wheelbarrow as we had so much to move and organize..I was a fool and kept on going..across a large auditorium. several times because I had promised and no one else was there. I paid.
They froze because I started crossing my arms..hugging myslf to avoid the agony of one wrong move..I had seen the doctor..but he did not offer PT until I went back and was in such a mess..I could not put dishes away..one wrong move and kneebending pain shot through me..
PT saved me!
Some of the stretching motions hurt...but it did not last long..I had a pully set up in the garage rafters to stretch my arms up bit by bit.I also did strength exercises I finally got full motion again..I worked hard and did what I was told.
I went for 6 weeks..and did a lot at home during and after..

Thank you, Mozie....yes, it made me sadder. Each one who dies hurts....but there was just something about his face that touched me.....it hurts and I know you worry something fierce about your son. God Be With Him until he returns home.
God be with them all....

Yes I do worry...........much more this time than last.

We haven't been able to attend any of the Family Readiness Group meetings because, since he enlisted down in Madison and his NG unit is based there, that is where the FRG is located (nearly a 3 hour drive from here). I was starting to feel rather out of touch so I asked the local FRG group if I could join them (we have a company based right here in Green Bay that is also part of the 32nd and deployed to Iraq.) Today hubby & I attended our first meeting and I am SO GLAD...they were very welcoming and said of course we can consider ourselves part of their group; after all, their guys are deployed in Iraq also, so we are all going through the same thing. All of the issues that were brought up were concerns that we have also had. It was so great to connect with people who are going through the same thing we are.

After the meeting we stayed and helped crate up 600 boxes of Girl Scout cookies donated by our local council to send to the guys.:)

Spaceship Earth? That huge copper-colored ball in Epcot? A couple people died on that, you know.

Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom was worn out by the time I got up the nerve to try it and did not live up to its reputation. Splash Mountain's huge drop is exhilarating, and my favorite one is the mountain mine ride next to spash. That one's my speed.

The new on in MGM intimidates the hell out of me just from what little of it I can see and I don't think I'll try it.

Disney World is awesome. I've stayed at a number of their hotels and got the whole experience, a great way to go.

Hi Amy! I was wondering if you knew how Petruchio was doing. I can’t find the article listing for his prayer request anymore. Not sure it was associated with Amy’s Place or another daily ping I get. He had surgery recently. I want to read Petruchio’s thread and make sure he is OK. Thanks dear!
