I was one of the screaming teen agers in the Beaumont Auditorium when Elvis came to town with Louisianna Hayride, about 1955.
I was one of the stunned fans who saw him in Houston a few months before he died. I saw many people leaving literally in tears because he was obviously in poor health.
The man could sing!!!

I was talking about Elvis yesterday....see my post #370 from yesterday! He did one of his last concerts here. He stayed in Bristol and performed in Johnson City which is about 20 miles from here.

The Beginning Of The End?
The old wolf rages, in the mind of an angry man
the fires of that anger, everything seems to fan
logic and reason fall by the way, as emotions rise
and in the end, sensibilities and fairness surely dies
When that angry man, leads a nation, things go bad
what honor the country had, turns into something sad
changes tears us all apart, as a people once so proud
and hate now becomes the thing, spoken so very loud
Equality has become a political word of no value true
that is not the honest thing, any politician will even do
protecting their jobs as the country begins its long fall
and no so few will even hear the fading of freedom’s call

One day when you are not busy, I’d like to get you to do something, if you will. You have high speed internet service, I believe. Is that correct?

I need an editor/inspector to check a site. The site has beaucoup embeds and picture/graphics so high speed helps. Just need to know if everything is displayed correctly and if there is anything that may be offensive. Uses JAVA script so that needs to be enabled in your browser.
What browser do you use?
