I knew that you have or had a chow. We had a blonde one also. She was very special. She loved kids and was so smart. She went to Rainbow Bridge several years ago but I still miss her.

Maybe this will help make up your mind! He used to constantly stick out his tongue, so someone just speeded it up a little. Ewwwww!

Out the door NOW!

Good morning, Billie Blue.
Happy Blue Monday Tuesday.

Today's Graphic and music are beautiful.
Elvis and a lovely moonlit night ... who could ask for more.

I've been enjoying the different Blue Music this morning. Thank you.

Have a wonderful day.

Good morning, yorkie, thank you so much. I'm glad you love it ALL!

I am CA-RAZY about Elvis' version of Blue Moon - I had never heard it before. I think I'm in love. :)

And the Blue Bird song - good grief! Never heard of that song NOR that artist, but I'm lovin' it!

I have to give credit for my nickname ( the bluebird) to th' wolfie, who dubbed me BillieBlue several years ago. :)

"M-WAH", wolfie! :)
This one has always been my favorite!

Sweet, soothing and beautiful graphic, Billie! And Blue Moon by the Elvis~~be still my heart!

I do so agree! I could have chosen Blue Moon by any number of artists - but why? They absolutely could not be nearly as dreamy as Elvis' version!

Oh, thank you, Meg - for the lovely compliments, the lovely blue graphic with the sliver of a moon, and the lovely blue song by Ol' Blue Eyes!

So many "blue" songs I couldn't begin to name them all, so am hoping that many of you will be adding new (old) ones throughout the day. I didn't do Crystal Gayle's "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue", or so many more.

I am loving "my" song, though! LOL! What a great opportunity to post my bluebirds. :)

Thank you, jaycee - I just got to thinking how neat it would be to include some other "blue" songs with today's opening, and doing a google search for "Blue Songs", I was amazed how many there are besides the ones most of us have heard of! I found everything I asked for on YouTube and just linked the videos - with the exception of "Blue Bird", which I saved, converted to mp3 and uploaded because I WANTED THAT ONE, and a couple others I already had!

I love going to the doctor, too - thought I was the only one who enjoyed those appointments. :)

We've had 3 chows - the first two we 'inherited' from a friend after they were grown, and the blond was one of them. He was the most gorgeous thing! A show dog, though we never showed him after we got him. The other one was his 'brother' - a red chow, and he wasn't as beautiful, but he was way cute and had a personality like crazy. The last chow we had was a 'blue' chow - she was the one I think I have talked about. We got her as a puppy. Darling puppy! The sweetest dog we've ever had - until the white American Pit Bull Terrier I have NOW! He is also a gorgeous thing, and contrary to the reputation they have, he's absolutely the sweetest animal I've ever seen - let alone owned. :) (Chows and Pit Bulls - sweet? Who'd of thunk it) :)

Ohhhhhh! I am so loving that graphic! Tell me someone colored that bird - there isn't such a think as one that color, is there?

Thank you, Amy - I'm glad that you enjoyed today's opening and are still enjoying the blue music. :)

Will be back later. Time for lunch!

If what I saved it correct, that bird is a Lilac Breasted Roller. Isn't it beaufitul.

I also have a couple of images (will work on them later) of Racket Tailed Rollers.

I love finding these unusual bird pictures. Wouldn't it be fun to see some of them in their natural habitat?

This is the Wikipedia Description ...

"Rollers resemble crows in size and build, ranging from 25 to 27 centimetres in length. They share the colourful appearance of those groups, blues and browns predominating. The two inner front toes are connected, but not the outer one.

They are insect eaters, with Eurystomus species taking their prey on the wing, and those of the genus Coracias catching it on the ground. They often perch prominently whilst hunting, like giant shrikes.

These are birds of warm climates. They nest in an unlined tree-hole, and lay 2-4 eggs. The eggs hatch after 17-20 days, and the young remain in the nest for approximately another 30 days."
