If you want to know why the NRSC’s endorsement of Charlie Crist in the Florida Senate race was such a stupid move, watch Marco Rubio’s farewell speech to the Florida House of Representatives.

He sounds impressive, but is he a RINO or something more palatable?

Don’t know him other than watching that video but I like what I see. He’s got brass one’s to open up about God like that (notice the standing ovation, btw) but that’s conviction for you and done in a way that’s not in your face.

You can tell that speech is from the heart. Someone said just the other day and I can’t recall who but they said that when it’s real, you don’t need to read it (i.e. off a teleprompter).

I’m interested to see what else he stands for.

Is he against amnesty and illegal immigration? He is impressive.

Stinking RINOs Ms. Charlene Crist and Scarface Mel Martinez support both.

I encourage you to check out his web site and watch the videos and check out his bio. You’ll find some good information on what this guy is about.

Watch this interview (25 minutes). No RINO there.
(don’t let the title fool you — he covers much more than immigration)

Also, National Review (Freddoso) did a long interview. You have to go to their website for the full transcript.

Sounds like he is exactly the kind of leader the party needs, but he is an underdog as of now. I hope that changes.

If the Senate race seems beyond his reach is there a chance he would run for governor instead? Seems like that would be a great springboard towards running for president in ‘16.

Let me get this straight, Crist gets endorsed by McCain, McConnell, and the NRSC, drools at the porkulus and gets cozy with Obama, and you’re asking if Rubio is the RINO?

Do you even live in FL?

Hoping that Rubio is what he seems to be. We need to scrub the party clean of RINOs.
