WASHINGTON The Pentagon Tuesday played down a confrontation between Chinese vessels and one of its Navy surveillance ships, taking a decidedly more low-key tone than during similar incidents two months ago.

Bambi’s Red Chinese paymasters have told him in no uncertain terms just how far he can go.
Being the America loathing wuss that he is, he’s eager to please them.
What would Reagan do?
gosh, I wonder why that is . . . ?
Have an Aegis destroyer just over the horizon from the intelligence ship. That’s close enough to cover it...or at least make the Chi Comms think twice about hassling one our ships.
Armed with a single MA-2 .50 caliber Browning, this much feared naval vessel carries up to 30 rounds of armor piercing ammunition. It is the first in an entirely new naval architecture class -- technically, clitoral (not to be confused with littoral) -- being pushed on the Pentagon by the defense minded wussies in the Obama Administration as a cost-saving measure. If you look closely, you can see the heavy-duty seat restraint which prevents the pilot/gunner Kamakazi Kowalski from leaping from the vessel prior to engaging the enemy. The 12 V trolling motor which lacks a reverse function -- propels this sophisticated craft forward at a top speed of 4 knots. Reverse travel at approximately 35 knots -- is achieved by firing the Browning.
The no-bid contract to build 200 of these fearsome warships was recently awarded to Obama-Soros-Emanuel Shipbuilding and Stormdoor Manufacturing (formerly General Dynamics) and will be administered by trusted Obama associate and Chief-of-Staff Rahm Emanuel who commented that, at $12 million each, they are a bargain. They will be constructed exclusively at the companys facility in Kenya with major subcomponent production (rivets and miscellaneous fasteners) at the companys Harlem and Skokie plants. Delivery is expected to begin in 2024 (or as soon as the subcontractor's funds are safely in the contractor's Swiss account).
I took my wife and my parents on a Caribbean cruise just over a month ago. We were very surprised at how close tankers came from our cruse ship as we passed in the ocean. I mean, there was literally between 50-100 ft between our hulls as we passed. Now, both of these ships are huge (we were 130,000 tons) and the tanker was about our size.
When we passed, thinking you have the entire ‘ocean’ to play around in, we’d have thought there would be 1/4 mile between the ships - not from what we observed first hand (and video taped to boot).
I’m becomming more convinced, through personal experience, that sailing ships within 50 ft of each other in the ocean is the common ‘custom’ today. Perhaps the Chinese are just being ‘friendlier’ than normal. I’m sure there is a maritime law somewhere that states how close a ship is allowed to come to another - all I know is that what I thought was a ‘safe distance’ and what I observed have little in common. If you are > 100,000 tons of displacement, and we pass each other in the Gulf of Mexico, I should NOT be able to throw my Coke can onto your deck.
LOL
“the chinese are testing us again. how should we respond ?”
Is impeaching Obama an option?
i’m game.
