I like pie. Everyone has a pie tale. My grandmother made pie. She made the best pie. Cherry, blueberry, blackberry, apple, lemon meringue....she made them all.
My favorite was blueberry. Oh My Lord! I can still taste the memory of those pies. I can't make pie. My dear wife can't make pie. My mother could make pie but not like HER mother.
I miss those pies.
Pies for breakfast with a glass of cold milk, pie for lunch...pie after supper and pie before bed.
