Here is my tinfoil hat moment. I actually hope they are successful in the EMP thing if it is actually possible. I think it may be the ONLY way to break the zombie like hold on the American sheeple would be to take away their gadgets, gizmos, and TV.

The evening news would be unable to keep their minds muddled, neighbor would end up helping neigbor after the initial insanity and while it would be hard, and many would die, the strong and prepared would survive, recover and rebuild.

Without an audience or a plan, especially with out a forum, huge govt would wither away, and state and local govt would become what it was meant to. By the time communications and such were reinstated everywhere, small govt would be in its rightful place, as would state and federal.

Tinfoil hat back off.......

Doesn’t sound so much “tinfoil hat” to me.

Back in the day before all the gadgets, gizmos, and TV, people lived and had enough to do to keep them so busy they didn’t have time to dream up as much trouble as they do now. They lived without the internet (come to think of it, so did we - and not all that many years ago), they didn’t have to know every possible tidbit of bad news everywhere in the world every minute, they didn’t have to be on the cell phone 24/7 and everywhere they went (also not so long ago on that one either). Many of the deaths would probably be psychological. - I could use some peace and quiet, but then the world I was born into, electricity was in its infancy with our lights consisting of bare light bulbs in the center of the room, our water came from a well and had to be drawn in a bucket, the garden was out back for our food, we got our eggs from my grandparents’ chickens, we also bought very few things at the grocery store in general.

Sounds like a sound way back to God to me.. People have forgotten God.. Who needs him when the government can take care of all you problems..

Naaah, the amount of suffering and death in the US would be far too staggering. And if you think the current regime is bad now, wait until they are placed in charge of rebuilding society after an EMP. They’ll round up the Christians into gas chambers.

It’s funny that you say that because I feel the same way. VERY conflicting. On the one hand I absolutely LOATHE obama and on the other hand I LOATHE Obama....haha just kidding.

On the other hand I totally feel this is necessary to get us back to where GOD wants us. The use of an EMP on the US would take us back to the beginning of the 1900’s! Think about that!! At this point, that has such appeal to me as we’d truly go back to the basics.

The problem is one of unintended consequences. You can't limit the damage to communications; power transmission and delivery and transportation would also be severely disrupted. Starvation, the dregs of the cities pouring into the countryside to take from the prepared, no heat, AC or lights...Figure a third of the population dead within 60 days, most of the rest barely surviving. Not pretty.

However, pumping drinking water and sewer waters could be . . .

at least . . . helpful . . .

particularly against disease and all.
