Doesn’t sound so much “tinfoil hat” to me.

Back in the day before all the gadgets, gizmos, and TV, people lived and had enough to do to keep them so busy they didn’t have time to dream up as much trouble as they do now. They lived without the internet (come to think of it, so did we - and not all that many years ago), they didn’t have to know every possible tidbit of bad news everywhere in the world every minute, they didn’t have to be on the cell phone 24/7 and everywhere they went (also not so long ago on that one either). Many of the deaths would probably be psychological. - I could use some peace and quiet, but then the world I was born into, electricity was in its infancy with our lights consisting of bare light bulbs in the center of the room, our water came from a well and had to be drawn in a bucket, the garden was out back for our food, we got our eggs from my grandparents’ chickens, we also bought very few things at the grocery store in general.

I am so tired of seeing people on cell phones and driving at the same time. They think it is soooooooooooo cool!

Ah...the good old days! No antibiotics or vaccines, crude dentistry, and graveyards well populated with young people.

Wasn’t it great!
