What a great turn out - they estimated 5000+. It was SO awesome to be amongst all these wonderful people, standing strong for what we believe.

At first it was hard to hear the speakers because a helicopter hovered for the first hour. I don't know if it was a news chopper or police, but it was annoying.

After that, several speakers went up, from JD Hayworth, Bruce Jacobs (KFYI), John Shadegg, Russell Pierce, Trent Franks...

The lone liberal reminds me of what I told one of the folks at the Panama City Tea Party. Obama took the opportunity yesterday to anounce a tax cut, but the spending is still out of control. I told the guy that it was like my wife anouncing that our finances were now sound because she quit paying on our credit cards. At some point the few of us that are taxpayers will have to repay this debt. We’re either going to repay the Chinese for their loans or we’re going to pay it through inflation caused by the Obama administration printing more money. There is no such thing as a free lunch.

I heard it was between 6,000-8,000, possibly 10,000. My Daughter’s sign was mentioned on KFYI at their top of the hour news :) Phoenix Tea Party group on Facebook has a ton of great pic’s and you don’t have to be part of the group to see all the pic’s.
