Sad news for all fans, everywhere. His voice meant more than just Phillies...it was part of baseball for decades.

OMG, I am so sad, I can’t believe how wretched I feel.

God Bless you Harry. You gave the Fightin Phils your all, and the fans, too.

We will miss you.

It won’t be the same without you, Harry, but we know you’re still calling the games, with Whitey at your side...we just won’t be able to hear you for a while.

Sad day in Philly. At least Harry the “K” got to see the Phillies win another World Series. NFL films won’t be the same either.

Campbell yes, but Saam passed away I think in 2000.

Man, the passing of Kalas really has my wife, kids and I down. He was such a fixture to us Phillies fans.
Sunday afternoons in the summer won’t be the same without the sound of Harry calling the Phillies game..

I’m a life long Phillies fan, born and raised in Pennsylvania. I grew up listening to Harry Kalas and Richie Ashburn broadcast their games on the radio. A very sad day indeed!
